1. Keane - Hopes and Fears

When I was dragged to the Knitting Factory, kicking and screaming, to see Keane, I could never have known that walking away from my froggy slippers and apple martini would lead me to discover a band that has brought me such joy. Now, I am sitting in my froggy slippers drinking an apple martini, listening to "She Has No Time" over and over and over and...

2. Feist - Let it Die

A fantastic blend of yummy things that make one beautifully delicious listening experience.

3. Ray Lamontagne - Trouble

Hearing Mr. Lamontagne sing is like hearing Otis Redding sing to you in a rain storm.

4. The Dears - No Cities Left

Is there a new Smiths record out? Nope, it is just our Canadian friends The Dears.

5. Dresden Dolls - Dresden Dolls (8ft.)

If the movie "Psycho" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show" had a musical child, The Dresden Dolls would babysit.

6. The Shore - The Shore

Super melodies that make me feel like a college freshman in the backseat of a Buick saying no but thinking yes.

7. Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous

It is not only the strong songwriting on this album, but also the hauntingly innocent vocals of Jenny Lewis singing about things that girls just should not touch, that make my knees quake.

8. TV On The Radio - Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes

It was not until I moved out of Brooklyn that I discovered the genius of these Brooklynites. And it is a darn shame. The vocal harmonies and incredible production make this an indie kid's can't miss.

9. Velvet Revolver - Contraband

My aquanet is off to this rock 'n roll super group. It has been years since I can remember being hit in the face like this.

10. The Go Find - Miami

This Antwerpian simply makes my booty shake!
